Celebrities — they’re just like us! They date, they break up, and they get back together again. In other words, they’re just as back and forth in their relationships as the rest of us. *Whew* Turns out, some of the most fan-favorite Hollywood couples right now have spent some time apart and clearly, that space made them stronger because they’re #goals.
Here are a few celebrities that have broken up but are thankfully together now:
Justin Beiber & Hailey Baldwin
Justin Beiber and Hailey Baldwin have recently made headlines, thanks to their whirlwind engagement. The two were first rumored to be dating in 2015, even though Justin kept saying they were “just friends.” Then, they were spotted making out in 2016 before their relationship fizzled. During that time, Justin was believed to be in relationships with Kourtney Kardashian, Selena Gomez, and a few others. But now, Hailey and Justin are together and (supposedly) legally married. What a ride!
Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard
It’s hard to believe there was a time when Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard weren’t together! Since their marriage in 2013, they’ve been basically inseparable. We love them! But there was a time when they weren’t on such good terms. Dax actually broke up with Kristen because he wasn’t ready to commit to just one person. Thankfully, he changed his tune and the two are happily married with two adorable kids.
Gabrielle Union & Dwayne Wade
Gabrielle started dating Dwayne back in 2009. The two split up for a few months in 2013 because of their busy career schedule but found their way back together. They married in 2014 and even though they don’t share children together, Gabrielle became the step-mother to Dwayne’s three children. Sounds like a happy little family to me!
Halsey & G-Eazy
Now that these two are back together, they need to stay together. Shortly after releasing their famous pop song, “Him & I” Halsey and G-Eazy broke up. There were rumors that G-Eazy was unfaithful but nothing was really confirmed. Either way, the two only spent a few months apart before they recently got back together. And once again, they better stay together. Especially if they’re going to keep creating music!
Olivia Culpo & Danny Amendola
The former Miss Universe started dating football star, Danny Amendola, in 2016. And their Instagram feed very nicely depicted their adorable relationship. Unfortunately, the two broke up in March 2018 for a few months before rekindling last month. I have to say, I’m thrilled they’re back together!
Bella Hadid & The Weeknd
Bella Hadid and The Weeknd broke up in 2016 before getting back together a few months ago. Honestly, I don’t know why the two even broke up in the first place. They clearly love each other, right? During their separation, The Weeknd started dating Selena Gomez before the singer ended the relationship to start dating Justin Beiber again (that didn’t work, did it?) who ended the relationship to start dating Hailey Baldwin. Wow! These Hollywood relationships really all connect!
Justin Timberlake & Jessica Beil
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Beil are #relationshipgoals. These two are just lovely together. But, did you know they actually broke up in 2011 after dating for four years? Justin revealed in an interview how much he missed Jessica and how amazing he thought she was. I guess that caught Jessica’s attention because the two got back together a few months after he went on record saying that and announced their engagement in 2012.
Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik
Gigi and Zayn have broken up a few times throughout their three-year relationship. But right now, it looks like they’re doing pretty good. Zayn even put his Beverly Hills mansion on the market so he could live with Gigi in New York. Watch out! These two might be walking down the aisle soon.
Kate Middleton & Prince William
Even royals break up and get back together! Before these two genetically blessed individuals married and had children, they broke up in 2007 for a couple of months. That break up was short-lived and the two got engaged in October 2010. Kate Middleton & Prince William will be together forever (fingers crossed). Although seeing as the two have been linked since 2003, I doubt they’ll break up anytime soon.
Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth
Let’s take a moment to thank Nicholas Sparks for bringing these two together. Miley and Liam met while filming the movie, The Last Song. In 2012, the couple became engaged before breaking up. Thankfully, the two officially got back together in 2016. It was rumored that they took a break earlier this year, but Miley and Liam have since shut down those reports and seem very happy together.
Emma Roberts & Evan Peters
Emma and Evan met on the set of Indie-movie Adult Life and since then, they’ve had a pretty dramatic relationship. The two dated, became engaged, broke up and got back together (several times). Now? They’re together! Emma has even been spotted wearing her engagement ring. Hopefully, these two last and eventually walk down the aisle.
